Benalmadena Costa Malaga – Great beaches, nightlife, restaurants, activites!

December 4, 2013 By Andalucia Travel Guide

Benalmadena Tourist Guide Information

The beach-side resort of Benalmadena Costa Malaga is a very popular summer destination. With its 8km of beaches and glorious sunshine what more could you want for your summer holiday?

Located between Fuengirola and Torremolinos, Benalmadena Costa, is in the perfect location for a fun packed holiday.

If you are bringing the family there is plenty for you and the kids to get up to. Beaches with water activities such as jet skis, boats, windsurfing, sailing or fishing and with the famous Tivoli World theme park a stone’s throw away, along with Selwo Marina nearby the kids will not get bored!

Benalmadena is also famously known for its teleferico (cable car), which will take you to the highest point on the costa del sol, where you will be treated to some spectacular views.

This Teleferico can be found in Arroyo de la Miel right next to Tivoli amusement park.

If on the other hand a bit of partying is what you’re after, do not worry, Benalmadena Costa will also have plenty for you! There is great nightlife and atmosphere especially in Benalmadena Marina. Benalmadena offers some nice restaurants, a wide range of bars and great clubs. If gambling is your thing, take a walk to Hotel Torrequebrada for their Casino.

Even though Benalmadena Costa is the most popular amongst tourists, Benalmadena also has a small pueblo (town) above the coastal area which has a very quaint feel to it.

In Benalmadena Pueblo you will find the typical whitewashed Spanish houses and it will provide you with a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the coast and will also give you the opportunity to sample some authentic Spanish food with the great selection of restaurants.
