Cheap Car Hire in Malaga

December 4, 2013 By Andalucia Travel Guide

Cheap car hire in Malaga is definitely high up on most travellers’ priority lists. While in Malaga City itself you may not have any need for a car, but there are some circumstances that would make the opposite true.

You may look into car hire from Malaga Airport if you are staying out of town in an area not serviced by bus or rail. Make sure you find out about public transport available around your hotel before you go on your trip.

Even if you are staying somewhere central with public transport available, you may need a hire car to visit destinations that are off the beaten track. Trust me, there are uncountable hidden gems all over Andalucia and many of them are along the Costa del Sol coastline.

Unleash your inner explorer! Grab yourself a map, jump in the car and see where the road takes you. I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised.

Head south from Malaga and take in the sights of the stunning little beach towns, maybe even go a bit further and take a day trip to Gibraltar. A good tip when coming to Gibraltar is to park the car at the border in La Linea and cross on foot. There are buses that will take you into the centre of town, which is far more convenient than trying to find parking.

It is commonplace for business travellers to require private transport to get their jobs done. It makes good sense that they look for cheap car hire in Malaga so that they can keep costs down.
