Weddings in Gibraltar

We have had our share of famous weddings in Gibraltar! John Lennon and Yoko Ono got married here on our sunny Rock! Sir Sean Connery also decided to tie the knot here.

The reasons for marrying here on the Rock of Gibraltar are for its simplicity. You do not need to be a resident in order to marry, and it can all be done within 24 hours of arriving. Other obvious reasons for people wanting to marry here is the nice weather and the fact that it will not be too expensive to do.

Please make sure you arrive at the registry office with the necessary documents. You will need the following (original copies):

-Birth Certficate

-Passport

-Your decree (if previously married)

- If widowed, please include your marriage certificate and deceased partners death certificate
